Great E-bike, buy it.

Great E-bike, buy it.
This E-bike is amazing. My son has been waiting to get one and this one is beyond what he wanted. It has already exceeded our expectations. There is plenty of power for him and even plenty of power when I ride it. The brakes are great and stop on a dime. Suspension handles great on the roadway and on rough terrain. The light is super bright and the storage compartment for tools, cellphone, or other items is perfect. I like how you can adjust what level of speed you are in, in the case you want to limit your child. The E-bike came in a big box but the assembly was quick and easy. The battery life is great especially if you don’t keep it in the highest speed the entire time. It’s nice having the option to do pedal assist or just straight battery power. I definitely recommend this E-bike for your responsible teen or even for yourself as an adult.

    Slapped a different sticker over the ridstar brand

    Arrived damaged. The battery has two cracks in the casing and the decal was pealing off. I decided the damaged decal looked awful so I was just going to remove it. Underneath there was another decal with the Ridstar logo. After doing some research I found out the Ridstar e-bikes have been discontinued due to fires. So I guess the companies fix was to change the name and slap a new decal over the old ones 🤷🏻‍♀️
    Can’t speak to the durability yet as we just bought it and now I’m pretty nervous about having this fire hazard around.

    Defective Battery

    The bike itself was great. But after 1 use, the battery did not recharge. The seller asked for a video of me charging the battery. I sent the video and they said the charger indicator light appeared normal so they would send a replacement charger. What sense does that make. Obviously I need a replacement battery if charger appears normal. I had very limited time to submit a return request so I opted on returning then taking the chance of seller not being willing to send a replacement battery. Now I have to go through the hassle of disassembling, finding a box and taking it to a shipping store. Very disappointed.
