I love this bike! It is powerful yet solid and with the flat tires you can drive anywhere! So much fun!! Also, I love that it has the extra seat for my son! Excellent value!
Although this bike is amazing, there are a few important things to note:
1. When you receive the bike, you are given a card that says you can redeem a free gift. The free gift is an extra front basket. I purchased two bikes, the black and the pink. I redeemed the offer for both and received ZERO free gifts.
2. Although the product description mentioned that the bike had a USB-C plug, this is untrue. There is NO USB-C plug anywhere on the bike or the battery. If you would like to be able to charge your phone on the bike, this one may not be for you.
3. The battery is an absolute PAIN in the YOU KNOW WHAT to get in and out of the slot. Like seriously, I’ve had the bike for an entire year, and it hasn’t gotten any easier. Sometimes I have a full on mental breakdown trying to get it into place, especially when I am in a hurry to get somewhere. Definitely not as intuitive as my son’s electric bicycle. His seat lifts up and the battery is easily inserted underneath it.
4. Frustrations aside, this is a really great budget bike. Both of these that we purchased a year ago are still running and riding extremely well. We live in a very mountainous area, and have never had any issues getting up hills even with extra passengers on the back. And speaking of extra passengers, I’ve had people of all sizes and ages riding on the back including my 16-year-old daughter as well as my 6 year-old-son. That’s perhaps the best part of all!
