Follow the manufacturers recommendation to take it to your local bike shop to check the assembly and also make any adjustments that it might need so you can feel confident when you start to ride the bike.

    I purchased 2 Vefreedom e-bikes. Setup was pretty easy. One of the bike’s wire to the headlight was cut so I had to splice that, which is easy if you are handy.

    The bikes are fun to ride and have enough power for our need of cruising around a flat island.

    I found myself sitting at the back of the seat and feeling a bit cramped. I’m 6’3”. My wife was fine with the fit.

    I had high hopes for these bikes, but after a couple of weeks of light use, my bike stopped turning on. Since I have two bikes, I was able to swap the batteries and test several of things, like the wiring but no luck. I contacted the manufacturer via their Custer support email in their website and the email bounced back. I don’t think the company exists any more.

    Amazon did grant me the right to return it, but I have to package it back up and pay to send it back. That is probably going to cost half as much as I paid for it.

    I was hoping for at least some troubleshooting tips or a replacement part, but no such thing exists.

    I guess you do get what you pay for. I’m curious to see how long my wife’s bike lasts.

    UPDATE – After leaving the above 1 star review, customer service reached out to me. They diagnosed the issue and sent me a replacement controller under warranty. The bike is back to working now.

    The screen is easy to see, the seat is comfortable for those long rides and I just love this bike! Definitely worth it!

    It was pretty self-explanatory to put together. It was easy. I have not ridden it far yet..it weighs 61 lbs… so waiting on a good bike rack. It rides well. I’m giving it a 4 but only because of the weight. Really, you’re not going to find a light E bike. The battery alone adds a lot to it.
